Escambia County deputies investigating possible shooting on Baggett Court

ESCAMBIA COUNTY, Fla. (WKRG) — Deputies with the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office are investigating after ShotSpotter detected a shooting on Baggett Court, News 5 has learned.

Pensacola man accused of shooting into girlfriend’s motel room: ECSO

ECSO officials said the shooting happened around 3 p.m. Deputies responded to the scene, where they reportedly found shell casings along with a home and vehicle with bullet holes.

Deputies believe the shooting was a drive-by but they are continuing to investigate.

In June 2023, ECSO and the Pensacola Police Department began using ShotSpotter, a technology that uses audio sensors to determine where a gunshot is fired.
