France and Netherlands get one point each and stay on top of Group D after a lively, albeit goalless game - the first 0-0 of Euro 2024.

The two football titans didn't hold back and produced one of the most entertaining starts of the tournament, with at least two great chances each in less than twenty minutes.

The Dutch increased the pressure in the second half but struggled to break through France's tight defensive lines. Les Bleus had the better chances overall, and caused great danger later on in the game, first with a shot by Marcus Thuram and then with a Tchouaméni header narrowly over the crossbar.

The biggest chance however came at 65' when Antoine Griezmann failed to score from close range thanks to a great left-leg save by Netherlands' goalkeeper Bart Verbruggen.

But tension kept running high on both sides as VAR denied the Dutch the lead following an offside by Denzel Dumfries at 71'.

Poland 1-3 Austria: Austria's roaring victory bring Rangnick close to knockouts

Austria are back to their best as they convincingly brush off Poland 3-1 in Berlin.

Trauner's header opened the scoring early but Poland quickly found the leveller with Başakşehir's Krzysztof Piątek.

Leipzig's ace midfielder Christoph Baumgartner brought the Austrians back in front in the second half with a great finisher. Poland's attempts to equalise opened counterattack opportunities that led up to Austria earning and scoring a late penalty with Inter's Marko Arnautović, his third goal in three Euros editions - 2016, 2020 and 2022.

Poland however missed a massive opportunity to narrow the gap as Kamil Grosicki fired a good cross off the left post at 93'.

This is the first time Austria beat Poland in a major football competition, while Poland's defeat is the second consecutive one at Euro 2024, as the side remain with zero points in the group.

Poland - Austria: Gernot Trauner 9' (AUS), Krzysztof Piątek 30' (POL), Christoph Baumgartner 66' (AUS), Marko Arnautović 78' (penalty, AUS)
