Family Pool Party at Manitowoc Family Aquatic Center moved to August with severe weather in forecast

MANITOWOC – A Family Pool Party that had been slated for June 21 at Manitowoc Family Aquatic Center has been moved to August because of severe weather in the forecast.

The event will be 5:30-7:30 p.m. Aug. 17 and include pool toys, games, DJ The Bob & Scott Show and concessions. Admission is free.

A showing of the movie “Rookie of the Year’ will follow in Citizen Park with popcorn, candy and beverages available until 9 p.m.

The forecast for Manitowoc Friday afternoon called for showers and a chance of thunderstorms with a chance of rain at 90%. Friday night’s forecast called for a chance of showers and thunderstorms in the evening, then showers and thunderstorms likely after midnight. Chance of rain was 70%.
