Fans who were hoping to watch Royals game on Amazon this season are out of luck.

Well, at least at the start of the season.

Diamond Sports Group, the parent company of Bally Sports Kansas City, announced a plan in January to emerge from bankruptcy that includes financial help from Amazon.

Ultimately, Royals games could air on Amazon Prime, but that won’t happen before Thursday when the Royals open the 2024 season against the Minnesota Twins at Kauffman Stadium.

A bankruptcy court must first approve Diamond’s restructuring plan before any games could air on Amazon Prime.

The Royals games will go on and so will the broadcasts. Here are viewers can watch the team this season.
