Fayetteville Animal Services waiving adoption fees this week

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — Fayetteville Animal Services is waiving adoption fees this week.

It’s part of the “Big Summer Blowout” adoption event which runs from Monday, June 24 through Saturday, June 29.

The Fayetteville animal shelter says adopting this time of year is especially important because this is when shelters start reaching capacity limits, so you’re both giving a pet a loving home and opening up a spot for another pet in need.

FAS is open for adoption from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday.

Keep in mind you need to start the adoption process online where you can fill out an application before finding a pet.

For more information on the full adoption process, visit the City of Fayetteville’s website.
