NWS: Flood risk sticks around in New Mexico

RUIDOSO DOWNS, N.M. (KRQE) – The Ruidoso area is under a Flash Flood Watch on Sunday. The National Weather Service (NWS) released a “special weather briefing” to warn about possible flooding.

NWS said the burn scar from the Hermits Peak Calf Canyon fire is under the watch. However, other areas might be impacted, like the South Fork Fire‘s scar.
