Gas leak stopped in Andover, dispatch says all clear
WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — A gas leak in Andover forced some residents to evacuate their homes on Friday afternoon.
Andover dispatch told KSN the construction crew hit the gas line just before 3:10 p.m. near the intersection of Commerce Street and Andover Road.
Some homes that were near the break were evacuated. Commerce Street was also temporarily closed.
The area was cleared just before 4 p.m.
