The Globe welcomes two new team members

Jun. 17—WORTHINGTON — The Globe welcomed two new members to its team on June 3, including multimedia sales consultant Abi Fest and summer intern Aiden Penner.

Fest joins the Globe with experience in marketing through her business, "Thee MarketingGail." A native of Heron Lake, she currently resides in Fulda with her fiance.

Fest earned her associate's degree from South Dakota State University, Brookings, in 2021 and is eager to learn more about marketing in the newspaper industry and help our local businesses thrive.

Penner is a graduate of Mountain Lake High School and completed his freshman year at Bethel University, St. Paul, this spring. He is majoring in journalism with an emphasis in sports journalism.

A resident of Butterfield, Penner will work closely with Globe Sports Editor Skyler Jackson, as well as the editorial team, to help produce stories from throughout the area this summer.
