Green-haired brute beats NYC deli worker to bloody pulp, sickening video shows

A green-haired thug bumped into a Queens deli employee and then brutally beat the man to the point that his coworkers did not recognize him, shocking surveillance footage shows.

The badly bruised victim was knocked unconscious, lost some teeth and suffered a broken nose and internal bleeding in the senseless attack at the Sunnyside Mini Market Deli in Woodside around 11:20 p.m. on Monday night, according to his friend and cops.

Video obtained by The Post shows two men walking in the store when one of them, dressed in black with green hair, accidentally knocks into a worker standing in front of the counter.

The two exchange words and the green-haired man turns around, gets in the employee’s face and starts ruthlessly raining blows on his head, sending him crashing to the ground, the clip shows.

The attacker then throws the defenseless worker and starts kicking him in the face repeatedly, additional footage posted on social media shows.

One kick to the employee’s face knocks him out cold — but the brute continues smashing his foot into the man’s bloodied face.

The assailant yelled something at others in the store and then walked out the door in an unknown direction.

The battered deli worker, a 62-year-old Yemeni-American named Abdul, was taken to Elmhurst Hospital.

A fellow employee who visited Abdul in the hospital Tuesday said the injured man looks unrecognizable.

The employee, who wished not to be named, told The Post he immediately thought “this is not Abdul,” because his friend’s face was severely swollen.

“Abdul lost all of his top teeth, has a broken nose and internal bleeding in his head,” said the employee.

Abdul, who doesn’t even remember the attack, had asked him “why is my face like this?” and “Someone robbed the store?”

The employee told The Post that he has seen the suspect around a few times and that he hangs out a block over around 65th Street.

No arrests have been made.
