Grocery Outlet Bargain Market opens first store in Greater Cincinnati

A popular bargain grocery store is now open in Union Township.

Grocery Outlet Bargain Market opened its second Ohio location on Thursday at 650 Eastgate South Drive. The chain is known for selling name-brand items at a discounted price.

Grocery Outlet is a nationwide grocery chain based in Emeryville, California, but its Clermont County store is locally owned. The company's other Ohio store is in Boardman.

The bargain grocery stores are similar in size to a drug store, averaging around 14,000 square feet, and offer beer, wine, health and beauty products in addition to fresh produce.

The store is open daily from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m., according to its Facebook page.
