Hanover firefighters douse RV fire
A fully involved recreational vehicle fire sent a thick column of black smoke over downtown Hanover Monday afternoon.
Firefighters were called to the scene of the fire in the 200 block of North Forney Avenue in Hanover at 4:01 p.m. on Monday, April 1, according to York County 911 records.
According to Hanover Area Fire & Rescue Chief Tony Clousher, firefighters arrived to discover a trailer-style RV camper fully engulfed in flames, sending thick smoke into the air.
Firefighters quickly knocked down the fire with two hose lines. No injuries were reported, according to Clousher.
The cause of the fire is being investigated by Hanover Borough Police Department, Clousher said.
