Harris County School District looking for new paraprofessionals

HAMILTON, Ga. (WRBL) — The Harris County School District (HCSD) is treating people interested in being paraprofessionals to pastries at hiring events in June.

The “Pastries for Parapros” events are being held June 11, 18, 25 from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. at the HCSD Central Office on 132 Barnes Mill Road in Hamilton, Georgia.

According to HCSD, the goal of the events are to inform attendees about the benefits and opportunities that come with being a paraprofessional. The events will discuss job benefits, salaries, retirement plans and more.

HCSD says no registration is required to attend and anyone interested in positions can visit www.harris.k12.ga.us/employment.
