Hartsville man arrested by SLED for sex crimes with minor

DARLINGTON COUNTY, S.C. (WBTW) — SLED arrested a Hartsville man in March for sex crimes with a minor that started when the victim was 11 years old, according to an arrest warrant obtained by News13.

William Brizuela was charged with criminal sexual conduct with a minor. He was released on a $50,000 bond; online booking records show.

Warrants show that the alleged sex acts started in September or October of 2015 and lasted until the minor was about 14.

Brizuela “forcefully engaged in sexual battery,” the arrest warrant states. The victim said the sex acts happened on multiple occasions.
