Heat continues to build for Saturday with storms developing tomorrow night.

Tonight temperatures will fall into the upper 70s, a relatively warm evening with a partly cloudy sky. Winds from the south at 10 to 15 MPH and increasing wind speeds for tomorrow.

Saturday will be a breezy yet hot day. Winds will be from the south at 10 to 20 MPH and gusting near 30 MPH at times. Temperatures jump into the upper 90s with heat index upwards to 103 degrees. This puts us slightly above average for this time of year, as we typically see highs in the upper 80’s. This trend of warmer weather keeps going throughout the rest of the week.

Staying dry for most of the day on Saturday with our next system moving through late on Saturday night. Storms look to develop in our Southern counites overnight on Saturday.

Heat builds in for the weekend. Highs climb back into the middle to upper 90s with heat index running into triple digits. Our next best chance for rain comes in late Saturday evening, wrapping up by Sunday morning. Hot weather then sticks around for a few more days into early next week.
