Here's when customers will be able to return to the Grand Chute IHOP | The Buzz

GRAND CHUTE - The IHOP at 4101 W. Wisconsin Ave. is still closed for repairs following a fire and is expected to reopen by the end of the summer.

On March 26, restaurant employees reported seeing smoke from inside and outside of the restaurant. The Grand Chute Fire Department was dispatched to the IHOP shortly after 8 a.m. and found the source of fire to be above a ceiling panel in the dining room. The fire was extinguished within minutes, according to a news release from the fire department.

In April, a sign on the door stated that the restaurant would be closed anywhere from three to eight week following the fire, but was just a rough estimate of time.

Three months after the fire, owner Sam Soleimani said the restaurant is currently under construction to repair damages from the fire and is scheduled to re-open in August.
