Here's who is running for school board elections in Marion County
The 2024 general election on Nov. 5 will help decide the makeup of many Marion County school boards.
The deadline to apply to run for a school board position was June 20.
Speedway is the only school district in Marion County that appoints its school board members instead of electing them.
Here are the Marion County school board candidates for whom residents can vote in the 2024 general election:
Indianapolis Public Schools
The Indianapolis Public Schools Board has seven seats, four of which are on the ballot this year. One at-large position and three representing specific districts are up for election. The district four seat is the only uncontested race this year.
