High-definition broadcast of FCG-TV on new channel for Comcast subscribers

The high-definition broadcast of the Frederick County government television station has moved to a new channel for Comcast subscribers, but the location of the standard-definition broadcast remains the same.

Comcast subscribers can now find the HD broadcast of FCG-TV on channel 1072. The SD broadcast can still be found on channel 19, according to a press release from the county.

FCG-TV airs live and replayed public meetings in addition to public service announcements, profiles of residents, spotlights on county services and other original programming.

The channel’s HD version can be streamed directly from FrederickCountyMD.gov/FCGtv.

To watch live meetings with captions that can be translated into over 100 languages, people can visit connect.frederickcountymd.gov.
