Hollyoaks has hinted at wedding tragedy for Cindy Cunningham and Dave Chen-Williams.

The show's brand new trailer previews the pair's big day, which appears to end in tragedy when Dave collapses.

At the altar, Dave can be seen questioning whether Cindy is really ready to marry him, claiming that she is still mourning the death of her late partner Luke Morgan.

As tensions escalate, a huge row erupts between Cindy and Dave. Lizzie is forced to interrupt and drops the bombshell that she and Cindy had been discussing Lizzie's baby.

Dave can later be seen collapsing in the arms of his brother Ethan, as Warren Fox realises that the drugs he has been selling are dodgy.

While Dave's fate remains to be seen, an exclusive clip at the end of the trailer shows returning characters Hannah Ashworth and Robbie Roscoe discussing their plan to con him and Cindy out of their money.

Hannah can be seen reminding Robbie that Cindy only marries men with money, reiterating their plan to "take them for all its worth".

The trailer also showcases some key moments in Carter Shepherd's conversion therapy story.

Carter's agenda interferes with Ro's gender identity journey, while a concerning clip later on sees Hannah telling Ste that Carter has kidnapped Lucas. John Paul also fears for a sinister turn at the Pride event and tries to stop it from happening.

The trailer also offers a first look at Grace Black's return when Freddie visits her in prison to discuss a mysterious new plan.

Freddie will also be keeping himself busy as he makes an impression on Marie, Kitty and Lizzie.

Other key moments in the trailer include Marie being reunited with her missing son Arlo, and Frankie and JJ's story taking more dark turns.
