Homicide charges pending in Clarksville ‘domestic-related’ shooting

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — A teenager will be facing a homicide charge for a Clarksville shooting that led to an hours-long perimeter Thursday morning.

According to the Clarksville Police Department, officers received a 911 call about someone shooting a firearm inside a Timberline Way residence shortly before 9 a.m. Thursday, June 20. When they arrived at the home, police discovered two people with gunshot wounds inside.

One victim, identified as 16-year-old Bra’Anna Harbison, was pronounced dead at the scene. The other person was a 16-year-old male who was flown to a Nashville hospital by helicopter. He is currently listed in stable condition, according to police.

Detectives have determined the juvenile male was the “primary aggressor” in the “domestic-related” shooting, and homicide charges are pending.

The name of the juvenile suspect will not be released at this time, police said. The investigation is ongoing. No further information was released.
