How hot was it Friday? A look at the high temperatures around North Jersey

As the heat wave reached its fourth straight day, Bergenfield was one North Jersey town to tie its heat record for this date on Friday, according to the North Jersey Weather Observers.

Bob J. Ziff of the group reports that Bergenfield tied the record of 97 degrees set in June 21, 2012, other towns came close to matching temperature marks as well.
