Next week

The final week of June will feature heat, humidity, and storm chances. Monday, the storms clear out and temperatures return to the middle to upper 90s despite a northwest wind.

Tuesday is another hot and humid day. Highs in the upper 90s with feels-like temperatures well above 100°. Late Tuesday afternoon into the evening, rain and storms increase. Then on Wednesday, widespread rain and storms are likely. A cold front looks to follow on Wednesday, leading to less humid air by Thursday into next Friday.

This heat will be very intense the next several days. Be sure to keep hydrated and take breaks in air conditioning.
