Internet torn over misbehaving child who spit on passengers on flight: ‘What would you do?’
TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — The internet is divided after a woman said a child continuously spit on her and her husband during a 3 1/2-hour flight from Atlanta.
The woman aboard the Denver-bound flight said the child seated in front of her turned around and spit at them, getting saliva all over her face and her husband’s arm.
The child was around the age of 3 or 4, but “old enough to understand that you don’t do that,” the woman said.
Despite the parents of the child telling her to stop, the kid turned around again and spit on the couple. The woman she said put her hand up to block the spit.
After fighting back with her parents who were trying to get her to sit in her seat, the child allegedly turned around a third time and spit on them.
“Two adults could not control a 4-year-old child,” the woman added.

The video, which has circulated on TikTok garnering over 136,000 views within the past few days has left the internet torn about how they would’ve reacted.
“The first time I would have told the parents to control her. The second time I would get a flight attendant. Spit is no joke,” one user said.
Another wrote, “It sounds like the parents were reacting appropriately. For sure tell her you didn’t like it. Unfortunately, some kids are super difficult.”
Several others added that they would’ve lost their minds. Some blamed the parents, while others said they were doing the best they could to control the child.
