The one-time benefit will be given throughout June to eligible individuals who received the SNAP State Supplement in February of this year. The release states the support is part of an effort to reduce food insecurity in the state.

The money used for the one-time benefit comes from the state general fund. Those who qualify do not need to take any action as the June benefit will be added to their EBT card automatically. Any questions about these additional SNAP benefits should be directed to the Human Services Department at 1-800-283-4465.
