Lansing PD: 1 shot, suspect on the run

LANSING, Mich. (WLNS)– The Lansing Police Department was dispatched to a shooting that happened this morning on the 400 block of Saginaw St. near the bridge of the Grand River.

Officer Anthony Vandervoore told 6 News police responded to shots being fired around 6:40 a.m. One person was taken to a local hospital to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

Police say the suspect has not been identified and there is no threat to the public.
