What did you miss?

After their chaotic introduction to audiences last week, the latest set of Little Ant and Dec made their interview debut on this week's episode of Saturday Night Takeaway.

The diminutive duo chatted to Olivia Colman and Jessie Buckley about their new movie, Wicked Little Letters. Naturally, there was all sorts of anarchy — including a rude anagram game and some cheeky insults — as well as an awkward football faux pas from Buckley.

Who, what and why?

Ant and Dec's tiny counterparts took the opportunity to teach their movie star buddies some Geordie slang, including a Newcastle United terrace chant. After this interlude, however, Little Ant noticed Buckley's shoes.

The 34-year-old actor had chosen red and white footwear, meaning she was wearing the colours of Newcastle's local rivals: Sunderland.

"Jessie, I don't like the look of your shoes. Sunderland. Boo," said Little Ant, as Little Dec jumped enthusiastically in agreement.

The debut of "latest" Little Ant and Dec got mixed reviews from audiences, with several Twitter users suggesting the duo were "too young" for their new roles, at the ages of six and five.

It's worth noting that, while the original Little Ant and Dec were nine-year-olds, the second Little Ant and Dec, introduced in 2010, were also five and six when they took on their roles. The casting call to find the new stars stipulated that applicants should be between the ages of five and seven.

Elsewhere on this week's episode, Ant and Dec carried out a hilarious prank on some unsuspecting cinema audiences. We also got the return of the hugely popular audience game Ring My Bell and Matt Lucas was the special celebrity guest announcer.

The episode concluded with a special End of the Show Show to lead into the Brit Awards.
