Local home gutted by early morning fire

OLMSTED TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WJW) – A house in Olmsted Township appears to have been gutted by an early morning fire.

Heavy smoke could be seen coming from the home at about 6:30 a.m. on Friday as SkyFOX was over the scene.

Officials said they were called to the home on Lewis Road, between Nobottom and Barrett Roads, at about 2 a.m.

Cleveland serial rapist linked to double murder

No injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
