A local physical therapy center takes a holistic approach to recovery
LAFAYETTE, La. (KLFY) — A local physical therapy center takes an holistic and unique approach to improving your quality of life.
Jenee Leger with Fyzical Therapy and Balance says the center is more than your typical physical therapy clinic.
“We specialize in vestibular disorders, gate training and any balance issues,” said Leger.
Trained professionals evaluate and treat patients of all ages using unique customized tools and methods, like their balance harness.
“The harness is fitted to the patient and if the patient loses their balance it will catch them before they hit the ground,” Leger explained.
Physical therapy services range from dizziness to pelvic health.
“Whether it’s traumatic brain injury, stroke, vertigo; we also see neuropathy in their feet,” said Leger.

Each treatment established through a holistic diagnostic approach.
“Instead of sending a patient off to a hospital or sending them off to a different facility it’s all going straight to us to go straight into therapy to exhaust all the options,” said Leger.
