Local police locate mother of wandering child

SANDUSKY, Ohio (WJW) – Police in Sandusky say they have located the mother of a child who was found wandering in the street.

According to a City of Sandusky Police Department Facebook post, the child was found walking in the 1400 block of Camp Street on Thursday morning. A picture of the unidentified toddler was posted to social media at about 8 a.m. in an attempt to locate the child’s family.

The Sandusky Police Chief tells the FOX 8 I-Team that the mother will most likely face charges and that children’s services have been notified.
