NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — Louisiana’s legislative body has approved House Concurrent Resolution 127 (HCR127), honoring the valor and sacrifice of the brave Louisianans who perished on June 6, 1944, during the historic D-Day invasion in Normandy, France.

Spearheaded by Representative Charles Owen (R-30), this resolution pays homage to these courageous individuals’ spirit and unwavering bravery, whose actions on that pivotal day left an indelible mark on history.
