“I ended up getting resuscitated twice and had 2 seizures,” Reed said “After that, I barely knew my name.”

The accident happened on May 26. Just weeks later, Reed said that he is blessed to be alive and able to walk and talk. His doctor requested him to wear a sling.

“I woke up this morning. Maybe hurting, but I woke up this morning,” Reed said as he expressed his grace.

But even while in pain, this cowboy says he can’t be down for long. He’s a new father and runs his own company, Rolling Sevens Performance Horses.

“Being self-employed, you got to keep going,” Reed said “You slow down, everything slows down.”
