Man arrested a year after shooting death of five-year-old

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A man involved with the shooting death of a five-year-old boy was arrested today.

Larry White, 33, was arrested by MPD today and charged with criminally negligent homicide, aggravated child abuse and tampering with evidence.

Police say the child was shot at a home on Chancellor Cove in Parkway Village last February.

The boy was rushed to the hospital, but he tragically passed away there.
