Man critically injured in northeast Memphis shooting

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A man was critically injured after a shooting early Saturday morning, police say.

At 6:13 a.m., officers responded to the 2000 block of Pennington Gap Road regarding a shooting.

MPD: Man breaks into Jeep, threatens to shoot woman

Officers located a male victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.

He was taken to Regional One in critical condition.
