Man dead after being struck by car in Woodstock
Jun. 20—Howard County police are investigating a Thursday collision in Woodstock that left a man dead, according to a news release.
At about 8:43 a.m., Thursday a 2017 Toyota Corolla traveling north in the 10500 block of Dorchester Way struck a man who was standing next to a parked landscaping vehicle.
The man was transported to Johns Hopkins Howard County Medical Center, where he was later pronounced dead, according to the news release.
The driver remained on the scene, and an investigation into the collision's cause is ongoing, according to the news release.
