Man dies after crash involving ATV in Prince George’s County

PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) — The Prince George’s County Police Department (PGPD) said a man died after a crash involving an ATV on Monday night.

Police said that at about 10:00 p.m., they responded to the 7500 block of Walker Mill Rd for a crash involving an ATV and a pick- up truck.

Officers said a man on the ATV was taken to the hospital where he later died.

The man was identified as 29-year-old Ronald Hayes, Jr. of Upper Marlboro.

A woman who was also on the ATV was taken to the hospital for treatment.

The driver of the pick- up truck was not injured and stayed at the scene.

Police are working to determine what led to the crash.
