Man injured in ATV crash

Jun. 22—ANDOVER TOWNSHIP — A man in his 20s was injured on Thursday evening in a four-wheel, all-terrain vehicle crash in the 5700 block of Marvin Road, said Andover Fire Chief Matt Bush.

The incident occurred just before 7 p.m. when a man and woman in their early 20s attempted to change position on a moving ATV, Bush said. They lost control of the vehicle and crashed.

Bush said the woman was uninjured but the man incurred a head injury and abrasions. He was transported to the landing zone in Andover and was transported by helicopter to UH Cleveland for treatment.

Bush said the Ohio State Highway Patrol is handling the investigation. Community Care Ambulance responded to the scene as well as the Andover Fire Department and the North Shenango (Pa.) Fire Department.
