Man pleads not guilty to S Union Avenue homicide

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — A man accused of killing a woman whose body was found inside a trailer on South Union Avenue pleaded not guilty Friday to a charge of first-degree murder.

Jesus Navarro-Razo, 43, was ordered held without bail and is due back in court July 2.

Deputies called to the 900 block of South Union Avenue around 4:30 a.m. on Tuesday found the body of Angelica Castillo Fernandez, 42, inside a trailer. Authorities have not said how Navarro-Razo was identified as a suspect. He has no prior criminal cases listed against him in Kern County.
