Man threatens to stab employee, start a fire in Brooklyn store: NYPD

BROOKLYN, N.Y. (PIX11) — Police are searching for a man they say threatened to stab an employee and start a fire inside a business last month.

The incident occurred around 4:45 p.m. on May 28 near Linden Boulevard and Holly Street. The suspect became irate, brandished a knife, and told the employee, “I will stab you,” according to the NYPD.

The suspect poured lighter fluid on the floor but failed to light it, police said. He then fled the scene. No injuries were reported.
