A Massive Brawl Broke Out Among Parents at This High School Graduation and the Reason Why Is So Upsetting

From Country Living

Last Tuesday, an all-out fist fight broke out at a high-school graduation ceremony in Arlington, Tennessee.

The ceremony, held at Bellevue Baptist Church, was disrupted when two women got into a fight that soon escalated into a massive brawl. The dispute, allegedly, was over saved seating at the ceremony.

In later videos taken at the scene, a woman is in handcuffs, WCM Action News reports.

The news station also shared the following statement, issued from Arlington Community Schools:

Last night we celebrated 500 students who graduated from Arlington High School. This year's class earned over $30,600,000 in college scholarships. It was unfortunate that a couple of adults in the audience exhibited the behavior they did prior to the ceremony beginning and thus has caused a distraction from the celebration of our students' accomplishments. The graduation ceremony was not affected by this incident due to the actions of Bellevue's security team who promptly removed the adults from the ceremony. It is our hope that the focus will shift to our students and their accomplishments instead of the poor decisions by adults in attendance. Congratulations to our 2017 graduates of Arlington High School.

We can only hope that the students were still able to enjoy their graduation, despite the poor behavior exhibited by a select few adults.
