UPDATE: Menasha man no longer missing, found and returned safely

MENASHA, Wis. (WFRV) – 22-year-old Jorge Jara was located and returned safely, according to the City of Menasha Police Department.

The police also thanked the community for their assistance.

ORIGINAL: Menasha Police looking for missing 22-year-old who has difficulty communicating

MENASHA, Wis. (WFRV) – Police in Menasha are looking for a man who they say has some cognitive disabilities and difficulty communicating.

The Menasha Police Department posted on its Facebook page about a missing 22-year-old who has some cognitive disabilities and has difficulty communicating. Police say that Jorge Jara was last seen in the 600 block of Appleton Street around 11:45 p.m. on June 20.

The release says that Jorge was last seen wearing a white t-shirt and gray shorts. He is described as about 5’8″ and weighs around 150 pounds.

Authorities asked residents to check their porches and landscaping for him. It was also mentioned that if anyone sees him, call 911 and report his location.

Police say that if Jorge is approached he may not communicate.
