Military and veteran appreciation event coming to Watkins Glen International

WATKINS GLEN, N.Y. (WETM) – A military and veteran appreciation event is coming to Watkins Glen International this weekend to offer free admission to a race for those who have served.

The event will happen alongside Sahlen’s Six Hours of the Glen on Sunday, June 23, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Lot 5 parking area. During the event, all military members and veterans will be allowed into the race for free along with one guest.

Chemung Cornell Cooperative Extension starts environmental program

To participate in the offer, all military members must show their Military ID and veterans must show their DD214 or discharge papers at the entrance.
