Police investigate motorcycle crash on I-270 in Maryland Heights

MARYLAND HEIGHTS, Mo. – Authorities are investigating a motorcycle crash that led to notable traffic backups early Friday afternoon on Interstate 270 in Maryland Heights.

Traffic was stalled in the northbound for several miles as crews worked to clear the scene of the crash, just before I-270 meets with I-70. The crash happened around 3 p.m.

Four northbound lanes were closed for a bit of time, but traffic lanes have since reopened. Check MoDOT’s Gateway Guide for the latest traffic impacts.
