Motorist shot on 60 Freeway in City of Industry

A motorist was hospitalized after being shot on the 60 Freeway in the City of Industry Thursday morning.

The incident took place on the westbound side of the freeway near Crossroads Parkway shortly after 6 a.m.

The calling party reported that someone shot at them while they were on the freeway, a California Highway Patrol spokesperson told KTLA.

Aerial video from Sky5 showed a vehicle pulled over the side of the freeway along with several CHP patrol vehicles following the incident.

According to KNX News Radio, the driver was hospitalized with a gunshot wound to their leg.
