Multiple residents hit by pellet gun in Spring Hill
SPRING HILL, Tenn. (WKRN) — Multiple people were shot with a pellet gun in Spring Hill Monday evening.
The shooting incidents began around 6:30 p.m. Monday in the area of Duplex Road at Cochran Trace Drive, according to Spring Hill police.

Spring Hill police reported a woman was walking on Duplex Road when she was struck in the leg by a projectile. The gun was described as having an orange/yellow tip on the end of its barrel.
Around 6:30 p.m., a Spring Hill officer was flagged down by people riding in a golf cart on Wilkes Lane close to Miles Johnson Parkway. Spring Hill police said three people riding in the golf cart were all hit with projectiles.
Around 7:05 p.m., officers responded to the Wilkerson Place subdivision after another woman was hit with a pellet gun round while walking.
The pellets were fired from a silver SUV, possibly a Volvo or Toyota 4Runner.
Spring Hill Captain Justin Whitwell told News 2 a juvenile has been taken into custody in connection with the shooting incidents.
“They do appear to be separate incidents with the same motive,” explained Captain Whitwell.

On Tuesday morning, Spring Hill police released more details about additional shooting incidents.
A 15-year-old girl was shot by a pellet gun on Friday, June 14 in the area of Via Francisco Way and Maleventum Way in the Benevento subdivision, according to police. A 16-year-old and 14-year-old boys were identified as suspects and charged with assault in Williamson County Juvenile Court.
A 44-year-old man was hit while driving his vehicle near Duplex Road and Hurt Road on Sunday, June 16. Two 16-year-old boys, one from Spring Hill and one from Franklin, were each charged with aggravated assault in Williamson County Juvenile Court in connection with this shooting incident, according to Spring Hill police.
