Two in custody after hours-long St. Charles standoff

ST. CHARLES, Mo. – Two people are in custody after an hours-long standoff Wednesday afternoon in St. Charles.

The St. Charles City Police Department says that officers attempted to arrest a 37-year-old woman. Police say the woman was believed to a felony fugitive and possibly armed.

Father and son drug dealing duo nabbed

Authorities have gathered around a St. Charles home on Expedition Trail in efforts to arrest the woman. Police say the standoff lasted from 11:30 a.m. to just after 3 p.m.

No injuries were reported from this standoff. Police say it ended peacefully. One woman and one man inside a home were taken into custody and surrendered on their own.
