Oklahoma man died from injuries sustained in Lincoln County crash

SCOTT − A 55-year-old Oklahoma man died Thursday from injuries he suffered when his motorcycle and a van crashed in Lincoln County Tuesday.

Robert Dungan, of McAlester, Oklahoma, died Thursday from his injuries at the University of Wisconsin-Madison Hospital, according to a Lincoln County Sheriff's Office news release.

At 12:12 p.m. Tuesday, a 911 caller reported a van and motorcycle crash with injuries at the intersection of Lincoln County K and Lincoln County Q in the town of Scott. When deputies arrived at the scene, they found an orange Harley Davidson motorcycle laying on its side in the middle of the intersection, according to the news release. A tan Dodge Caravan was off on the west side of the road, south of the intersection.

Dungan and his female passenger on the motorcycle both were taken to UW-Madison Hospital, where the woman remained as of Friday morning.
