One dead after car caught fire in early morning crash

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) — One person has died following an early morning crash that happened on Brown’s Ferry Road on Sunday.

Limestone County Coroner Mike West, says that the crash occurred on Brown’s Ferry Road east of Gray Road around 1:30 a.m. West says that the vehicle was also on fire.

The victim was transported to a forensics division to be identified.

The crash remains under investigation by the Huntsville Police Department.
