One injured in five-vehicle crash near Chatfield
Jun. 22—CHATFIELD — Only one was injured in a five vehicle crash at the intersection of U.S. Highway 52 and 130th Avenue Southeast near Chatfield during the early afternoon Friday.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a Nissan Altima, Ford Taurus and GMC Sierra were all southbound on Highway 52 when they collided with a Ford F-150 and Ford F-350 heading north on the highway.
The only person to sustain injuries was 58-year-old Timothy Alan Majerus of Preston, Minnesota. He was driving a 1998 Ford F-150 pickup and was taken to Mayo Clinic Hospital-Saint Marys.
The other drivers did not sustain any injuries.
The Olmsted County Sheriff's Office, Chatfield Fire and Ambulance Departments responded.
