One injured in south Wichita motorcycle crash

WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — One person was transported in serious condition after a motorcycle crash in south Wichita on Friday.

The call came in around 7 p.m. from the intersection of Pawnee and Mead.

The Wichita Police Department said when officers arrived, they learned the motorcycle driver was driving on Pawnee when a car turned onto the road and collided with them.

The motorcycle burst into flames, WPD said.

Sedgwick County Dispatch said the driver had serious injuries. He was transported and is in stable condition.
