One killed in crash on River Watch Parkway
AUGUSTA (WJBF) – One person is dead after a crash on River Watch Parkway Friday night.
The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office says the Deputy Coroner pronounced a male deceased after responding to a call about a motorcycle accident that involved injuries shortly before 10 p.m.
Investigators say the accident happened on the eastbound side near mile marker 3.5. The motorcycle was traveling eastbound when the driver lost control and struck the center median wall.
The Richmond County Coroner’s Office has identified the victim as 32-year-old Justyn Klempke, of Augusta.
