One Voice, One Community hosting ‘Lynchburg United’ calling for non-violence

LYNCHBURG, Va. (WFXR)– One Voice, One Community is inviting the public to attend ‘Lynchburg United,’ a free community program calling for unity and non-violence in the Lynchburg community on Saturday, April 20 at the E.C. Glass High School Auditorium at 5:00 p.m.

The keynote speaker is Wesleyan University Professor Dr. Khalilah Brown-Dean, who is also a Lynchburg native and graduated from E.C. Glass High School. Dr. Brown-Dean also is the author of the book ‘Identity Politics‘ and has done extensive work in criminal justice reform.

Several non-profit organizations will also be in attendance and providing resource information.

Program attendees will have the opportunity to receive free gun locks and doorbell cameras while supplies last and light refreshments will be served.
